I had such a wonderful experience with Mataia today! It had been a very long time since I had a true haircut, so I was a little nervous going in. She took the time to really listen to what I wanted and helped bring my vision to life better than I could have imagined. What stood out to me most was how thoughtful and patient she was throughout the entire appointment. What was originally scheduled as a one-hour haircut ended up needing a little more time, and rather than rushing through it, she moved another appointment to make sure she had enough time to give my hair the attention it deserved. That meant so much to me! She was incredibly personable, kind, and professional, and she made me feel comfortable from the moment I sat in her chair. I never once felt rushed or like I was taking up too much of her time. She truly cared about making sure I was happy with my hair. I left feeling beautiful, confident, and so happy that I finally took the step to get my hair cut. I am beyond grateful for the care she put into my appointment and will absolutely be going back. If you’re looking for someone who genuinely listens, takes their time, and cares about their clients, I highly recommend her!
